Greyhound Going WiFi On Highway

Going Wireless on the highway just got it easier. Thanks to Greyhound, their brand new buses now support Wifi the free public wireless connection. I was on a trip to see my family so I though why not take Greyhound and it happened, the brand new bus was sitting outside of Atlanta and I was proud to be part of this celebration.

Guess what? I decided to take my seat then open my laptop and let’s go for the ride, what I got? Yuppies, Wifi connection bar was full and I tried to open a website say CNN then it pulls up the Greyhound agreement page then I click to accept, then afterwards the CNN page loads up fast and I was impressed.  I decided to open a video at YouTube and it loads the video within few seconds then it started playing, it shows that connection is very fast and strong. I was happy about that.

Now, I was thinking in my mind, “What about placing VP calls?” so I decided to open several different programs like P3, Z4, Viable Vision, Skype and others to test the video conference. After I made one video call, guess what? it worked! I drop my jaws, this is great so deaf people can have open communication just like hearing people.

I am showing some photos so you can see what it looks like:

The Wireless connection shows Greyhound bar are full, I tested the speed was at least 3.7 Mpbs

The new Greyhound Bus that has WiFi support, this was a rest stop in Dulton, GA enroute to Cleveland, OH

The features shows on the front door tells what the bus has offer for customers. This is great bus.
