iPhone 4 Unlimited Data Plan TAP Update From AT&T

This is updated information in regarding iPhone 4 Unlimited data plan for deaf people. I would like to pass this along to everyone and this is useful for everyone to take this advantage. Please read this very clearly and the rumors you heard about the TAP pricing plan is incorrect. This is the real source and update information was provided to us from AT&T.

AT&T states that if you have old iPhone 3G or iPhone 3GS or Blackberry Phones with current unlimited data plan then AT&T will grandfather the plan as long you DO NOT upgrade or downgrade the plan. But to make it clear, if you purchase a new iPhone 4 from any one of these, you MUST fill out the TAP form provided by NCCD.

To visit the AT&T NCCD (TAP) website can be found at:

http://www.wireless.att.com/learn/articles-resources/disability-resources/text-accessibility-plan-for-iphone.jsp

The process is very easy and you are required to download the TAP PDF form and take it to any doctor or any state agency to fill the form to make sure you are disabled then mail all the proper form to the NCCD provided. Make sure you NOTE on the application states:

“I want to keep my current unlimited data plan to my new iPhone 4 from my old account as AT&T grandfathers it”

NCCD will process your application within 3-5 business days then will send you a letter upon approval or not. If approved, your plan will stay as unlimited data plan then you will not need to be on the new AT&T plan that has limit of 200MB or 2GB plans. The new iPhone 4 unlimited data plan will be set at $50 a month.  The voice will still cost at 40 cents per minute, regardless if you are on the unlimited data plan.

With this special request, you will be able to keep your unlimited data plan and enjoy the great features on your iPhone 4. For more information about this iPhone 4, visit Apple’s website at www.apple.com/iphone/ and AT&T Wireless at www.wireless.att.com
